Once you have a roommate, the decision of a color scheme or theme will come up. It's inevitable...there will be discussions about pillows, duvet covers, carpets, and random items you never once thought of before planning your dorm room. What I believe is most important is that your room just has to feel like home. It's not about the wallpaper, which yes I have, or the headboards or color scheme. It's about making your room feel like it's yours, choosing whatever posters will make you smile when you wake up in the morning, pictures of your friends & family and most importantly bringing your childhood stuffed animal. At the end of the day when you're studying, coming home late from a fun night out or just hanging out with your friends, the only thing that matters is that it feels like home, or at least your home away from home.
